Vectron International designs, manufactures and markets frequency generation and control products using the very latest techniques in both standard crystal and surface acoustic wave (SAW) based designs from DC to microwave frequencies. Products include crystals and crystal oscillators; SAW filters and components; and clock and data recovery products used in telecommunications and data communication applications.
VI was created through internal development and the re-organization and integration of six major industry leaders: Vectron Technologies, Inc., Hudson, NH; Vectron Laboratories, Inc., Norwalk, CT; Oscillatek, Olathe, KS; KVG, Neckarbischofsheim, Germany; Quarzkeramik Stcokdorf, Germany; and Telefilter, Teltow, Germany. These companies are all administered under the VI flag, with each location having focused responsibilities for R&D, as well as manufacturing. Selling and other support facilities are well integrated, and in particular, have concentrated on achieving a common QA standard in ISO 9001 registration at all key facilities.
Vectron International's parent company is Dover Corporation, and NYSE public company with an excellent record of profit and growth in the industrial manufacturing field.
Business and Marketing Developments:
The most important development in the last two years has been the integration of the VI group. by integrating the companies, and by optimizing R&D, marketing and manufacturing capabilities, Vectron International has established a leadership position in frequency control products and technologies. In addition, by acquiring key oscillator and SAW filter companies in Europe, VI has strengthened its position internationally and has reaffirmed its commitment to serve the global market.
VI has also established a new company to market high volume, low cost frequency control products via a select group of VI world class partners and suppliers in the Far East.
With the creation of VITE, Vectron International Technology Express, VI has expanded its presence into the Value added Re-Sale market and now offers one of the widest ranges of Frequency Control Products available, from low cost commercial crystal products to Space Qualified components.
The technology and capability provided by the group reflects the demands of the rapidly growing communications markets which include the trend towards higher frequencies, low cost designs and miniaturization, as well as more technologically sophisticated integrated solutions.

Facilities and Capabilities
VI's facilities contain the most advanced state-of-the-art equipment used in oscillator and filter manufacturing. This facility at Hudson, NH, for example, incorporates class 100 and class 10,000 clean room facilities in the manufacture of leading edge ceramic packaged VCXOs and TRU timing recovery and clock recovery units, as well as SAW based filters. At KVG and Quarzkeramik, in Germany, discrete crystal technology is highlighted by advanced manufacture of High Frequency Fundamental and SC cut crystal capability. In Norwalk, a dedicated Space Laboratory includes state-of-the-art testing capabilities and class 100 horizontal laminar flow work stations. By capitalizing on the flexibility of many operations, VI is able to give customers the right products at the right price, and deliver those products when and where they want.
