Tapped Filter Networks For EMI/RFI Suppression

Tapped filter networks for the suppression of EMI/RFI noised are now available from KOA Speer Electronics. These components are designed to filter out the high frequency content of digital signals and are commonly used in I/O ports and other high frequency/high speed applications.

The standard KOA Speer LFA series networks in a low profile, 20-pin QSOP style, can replace 16 individual discrete components. This design saves real estate. Each network has a resistance range of 10 Ω to 10 KΩ and a capacitance range of 10 pF to 220 pF. Resistance tolerances of ± 5%, ± 10%, and ± 20% are offered, with capacitance tolerances of ± 10% and ± 20%. The TCR is ± 250 PPM/ ° C. Body style options include wide SOIC, QSOP, TSSOP, and 0.6, 0.5, or 0.4 mm die packs.

KOA integrated passive components feature thin film, silicon-based, multi-element construction through the combination of resistors, resistor-capacitors, or active-passive components.
