Mon, 04/30/2001 - 6:15am
J.W. Miller has expanded is line of bobbin core RF chokes with the introduction of the 1110, 1120, 1130 and 1140 RF choke series featuring high current capacity and wide inductance range. Offering users of switch-mode power supplies and other electronic devices a solution to common problems associated with electromagnetic interference (EMI), the new RF choke series reduces EMI while providing high performance and reliability.

Performance specifications for the series include an inductance range from 1 to 15,000 uH, an operating temperature range of – 55 to +105 ° C, and a dielectric voltage strength of 2500 Vrms.

The 1110, 1120, 1130, and 1140 RF chokes are manufactured with an epoxy coated ferrite bobbin core and VW-1 rated shrink tubing to cover the winding. The devices are self-leaded and feature low DCR, plus fixed lead spacing with a center hole for mechanical mounting. Sizes include 0.66 inches, 0.81 inches, and 1.1 inches diameters with heights of .84 inches to accommodate standard configurations. A fourth model (1140 Series) is 1.5 inches in diameter with a height of 1.3 inches.
