Package sizing varies according to the capacitance and voltage rating, and ranges from 2.5 mm by 7.2 mm, with a 6.5-mm height, to 7.2 mm by 7.2 mm, with a 13.0-mm height. The lead spacing is 5mm on all parts. Packaged in a flame-retardant casing, the new capacitor also features environmentally friendly lead-free schooping layers.
The MKT1826 features a broad capacitance range, with 23 capacitance options spanning from 1000 pF to 4.7 μ F. Capacitance tolerance options of ± 5%, ± 10% and ± 20% are available. A broad voltage range is also provided, with voltage options of 40 VDC, 50 VDC, 63 VDC, 100 VDC, and 250 VDC. Vishay's MKT1826 is well suited for high temperature applications, with an operating temperature range of 55 ° C to 125 ° C, or 55 ° C to 100 ° C in the 4.7-μ F, 40-VDC version.
