Multi-site Concurrent Programmer

Fri, 04/06/2001 - 5:21am
BP Microsystems introduced its universal multi-site concurrent programmer, the BP-2600. Capable of programming 64 Mb in 42 s, the BP-2600 uses the sixth Generation Programming Technology. It is ideal for high-density flash devices. The BP-2600 supports virtually every device type including memories, microcontrollers and complex PLDs in packages that range from the largest QFP to smallest μ BGAs and Chip Scale Packages (CSP). With existing support for more than 16,000 devices and over 275 available socket modules, BP Micro's concurrent programmers allow users to quickly and easily change from one package type to another.

Available in two, four or six sites, the BP-2600 uses the fault-tolerant Concurrent Programming System® architecture. Each site is independent and features its own power source, CPU, pin drivers and memory. This allows operators to obtain more throughput with less sockets than traditional gang programmers.
