Hybrid Combiners

Fri, 04/06/2001 - 5:20am
The DB4398 hybrid combiners are specifically designed for use with Motorola's iDENSignalling Application System. Employing dual-junction isolators to typically yield greater than 75-dB transmitter-to-transmitter isolation, the convertible design permits variable combining for narrow frequency separations.

Highly reliable and cost-effective, the DB4398 series combiners feature low insertion of between 3.8 and 7.1 dB and harmonic rejection of greater than 80 dB. Designed to fit into a 19-inch rack, units are provided in two styles with adequate ventilation; bracket-mountable for maximum space savings with convection cooling system; or 2-rack unit tray with fan option.

The DB4398 combiners are available in single/dual 3-port, single/dual 4-port, convertible 4-port/dual 2-port, or triple 2-port configurations. The maximum average input power is 70 watts, with 350 watts peak and a frequency range of 851-869 MHz.
