California Eastern Labs has added a new 4 x 2 GaAs switch to its broad line of NEC GaAs and Silicon RFICs. Designed for use in LNB downconversion in DBS receiver applications, the UPG183GR provides four independent IF input channels that can be internally switched to one of two output channels. Good Insertion Loss performance ensures good signal clarity, while High Isolation reduces channel-to-channel interference. Specifications include a frequency range of 950 to 2150 MHz, an insertion loss of 7 dB @ 50 Ω typical per channel, an isolation of 26.5 dB channel-to-channel and a package size of 16-pin HTSSOP.
NEC's tiny package size makes the UPG183GR ideal for engineers wishing to miniaturize their designs. This GaAs switch is available on tape and reel volume for manufacturing.
