Omnidirectional Antennas

Pacific Wireless announced the availability of two new omnidirectional antennas operating from 2400 MHz to 2484 MHz for wireless communications base station applications. Usage of these antennas include transmit and receive applications for point-to-multipoint communication and wireless broadband communications.

Madel PAWOD24-9 features 9 dBi antenna gain, 14 degrees of vertical beam width, is 5/8 in diameter, 20 in length, and weighs 2.2 pounds. Model PAWOD24-12 features 12 dBi of antenna gain, 7 degrees of vertical beam width, is 5/8 in diameter, 40 in length, and weighs 4.4 pounds. Both of the Pacific Wireless antennas are constructed of UV-stable fiberglass and include 50 ohm passive feeds that come with type N female connectors. Additional specifications include input return loss of – 12 dB, operating temperature of – 40 ° C to 60 ° C, rated wind velocity of 125 mph, and attaching hardware for mounting on the customer's pole.
