Shogyo has reduced the outside dimensions of the jack enclosures for its in-line molded DC Power Jack Cable Assemblies with Strain Reliefs. The new, slim profiles complements the strain reliefs in optimizing OEM design flexibility.

The space saving jack enclosure is circular, with an outside diameter of 10 mm. Along with Shogyo's existing 10 mm × 12 mm square-faced jack enclosures, the new jacks are offered with center pins of 1.45 mm, 1.9 mm, and 2.5 mm. The strain reliefs — located precisely where the cable is molded to the jack — ensure assembly durability and eliminate chassis or PCB mounting requirements. Strain relief cables are available in a wide variety of gauges and lengths for all models.
