Terminator And Filter Networks

Wed, 02/21/2001 - 8:22am
KOA Speer Electronics introduces a new series of thin-film-on-silicon terminator and filter networks for the elimination of transmission line effects generated by fast edge rated clock signals. Often these effects result in undesired wave reflections and ringing within the application. The KOA terminator and filter networks are designed to filter at the source of emission and offer effective high frequency termination.

The KOA Speer CR(X) series design is a low profile, surface mount package offering reliability, stability, and real estate savings. The CR(X) has a resistance range of 10 Ω to 1 MΩ and capacitance range of 10 pF to 180 pF. Standard resistance and capacitance tolerances are ± 10% and ± 20% respectively. Two body style options include SOT-23 and SOT-143. Applications for the CR(X) series include high speed logic, low pass filter, EMI/RFI suppression, AC termination, and clock signal termination.
