Remotely Programmable Power Supplies

Wed, 02/21/2001 - 8:22am

LISTED UNDER:

The RPGM Series of high performance power supplies, featuring remotely programmable control by external voltage and resistance, are the latest entries from Protek Test & Measurement.

Designed to run efficiently and cooler, the units are ideally suited for production testing, bench operation, and similar applications demanding remote control.

Operating independently or in master/slave modes, with series or parallel configurations, the RPGM group also provides external sensing for precise regulation. Users may also remotely set constant voltage/current modes in addition to on/off settings.

Other important features include isolated inputs and outputs for user safety, ± 0.2% accuracy, three digit LED displays, and rear panel manual operation for special voltage needs.

Key specifications are typical constant voltage, ripple and noise (RMSV) at ± 0.5 mV, and constant voltage load regulation is 5 mV. Typical constant current load regulation is ± 10 mA, and line regulation is ± 3 mA. Constant current ripple and noise (RMS) is 2 mA. Three selectable line voltages are 100, 120, 220, and 230 VAC (50/60 Hz). Cooling is via convection or forced air.
