Precision Film-Foil Capacitors

Wed, 02/21/2001 - 8:22am
High Insulation resistance and high pulse handling capabilities along with very low dissipation factors and capacity as low as 47 pF are key features of Seacor's new KP-44 polypropylene film-foil capacitors.

These cost-effective, precision devices, in many instances, replace polystyrene and polycarbonate units and offer capacitance values ranging from 47 pF to 0.22 mfd. Operating voltages are from 160 to 1000 VDC. The dv/dt is 1000 V/μsec. Tolerances are ± 1% and up. Other values, voltage, and tolerances are also available.

Ideally suited for both high frequency and precision control products, the KP-44 Capacitor may be used in switching power supplies as well as timing, filter, and TV deflection circuits.
