Trompeter Electronics announced the addition of a new BNC Center Pin Depth Gauge, part number 010-0158, to their line of specialized Central Office installation tools. The new product is a precision dial gauge that meets the requirements set forth by the telecommunications industry for the proper installations of BNC connectors. The gauge measures the pin depth of a BNC plug center pin in relation to the BNC's reference plane as per MIL-C-39012. The measurement is calibrated before each use with a precision reference plug which is included with the gauge.
