MICRO-COAX has released application notes on its UFA147B and UFA210B UTiFLEX® flexible microwave cable assemblies. The application notes focus on the cable assemblies' amplitude and phase stability versus temperatures ranging from – 50 ° C to 100 ° C.

Designed with easy-to-reference charts, the application notes outline the cables' percentage change in insertion loss at various temperatures, as well as phase stability. Two separate charts indicate the cables' phase stability by degrees/GHz/ft. and PPM.

The UTiFLEX family of cables is constructed using a low- or ultra-low-density PTFE dielectric offering good loss characteristics, phase stability, and flexibility. They are designed for use in a variety of commercial and military wireless applications.
