This small, fully efficient, dual polar UMTS base station antenna provides 16 dBi gain on both polarizations ( ± 45 degrees) . This can be used for most traditional macro sites as well as high density micro cells.

Measuring 910 mm (35) high and 135 mm (5) wide, this antenna has such a small surface area that it can be installed alongside existing GSM antennas, even on the smallest masts, without significant effects on wind-loading. This eliminates the need for operators to go to the great expense of replacing existing GSM antennas with dual band units.

Downward facing 716 connectors allow for easy access and installation whilst ensuring that low intermodulation products are maintained. The antenna elements are housed in an aluminum chassis which is fully packed with dielectric to ensure that there is no opportunity for build-up of moisture near the PCB. This product complements European Antennas' existing 13dBi, vertically polarised mini sector (measuring 400 × 140 × 12 mm) and the recently launched tripleband (GSM900, DCS1800 and UMTS) directional, pico cell antennas which have a choice of single or triple inputs.
