Semtech Corp announced the newest devices in its popular charge pump platform. The new 3.3V, SC630A and 5V, SC632A are the world’s smallest 300mA and 275mA (respectively) buck-boost regulators in a tiny, 2 x 2 x 0.6mm package and are designed to be used with ultra-small, 2.2µF capacitors, making them far smaller and easier to use than conventional, inductor-based buck-boost regulators.
