Three-line Filters for Frequency Converters Tout Cost-effective Design

TDK-EPC announced a new series of EPCOS 3-line EMC filters for frequency converters and other power electronics applications. The use of improved materials has led to a particularly cost-effective design of these input filters, according to the company. All types of the B84143*166 Series have UL/CSA approval and are designed for currents of 10 A, 20 A or 35 A at rated voltages of 520 V or 300 V AC.

Gowanda Electronics announced that the company recently achieved failure rate Level P for its MIL-PRF-39010 RF Inductors – ER10M Series and ER17S Series. These thru-hole series meet the military’s Qualified Product List (QPL) requirements for Established Reliability (ER). Such approval requires extensive life testing of electrical, environmental, mechanical and thermal performance.

TDK-EPC, a group company of TDK Corporation, presents the TDK MLG0603S series of multilayer ceramic coils with what is presented as the world’s highest inductance values. These 0603 inductors feature an inductance of up to 180 nH at 100 MHz. Mass production started in August 2011.
