Power Sensors Cover Wide Power Range

Agilent Technologies’ N8480 Series thermocouple power sensors operate in a power range from -35 to 20 dBm with a 55 dB dynamic range in a single sensor. The N8481A performs from 10 MHz to 18 GHz, the N8482A works from 100 kHz to 6 GHz, and the N8485A functions from 10 MHz to 26.5 GHz (33 GHz with Option 033). The sensors incorporate a built-in EEPROM for storing calibration factors for the automatic loading of cal factors. An optional calibration-factor table (Option CFT) enables SCPI-code compatibility and manual entry of cal factors.
