Wireless Security Controllers

Fortress Technologies announces its FC-X Series of security controllers that are capable of processing throughputs up to 1.9 Gb/s per second, offering government customers a controller that meets the requirements for high-performance wireless optics links, as well as agency-wide wireless networking deployments. This enables large-scale organizations to secure communications from thousands of wireless users over high-bandwidth wireless links. These controllers work across all wireless transports including Wi-Fi (802.11), WiMAX (802.16), free space optics (FSO), Military RF and satellite. They enable government agencies to deploy tactical networks, and also allow for the scalability to an enterprise-level for secure communications in mission-critical environments.
