Power Amplifier Expanded to 4000W

AR’s RF Microwave Instrumentation division is offering amplifiers with expandable power. The basic expandable power unit is the model 1000W1000C, a 1000 W amplifier that covers the 80 to 1000 MHz frequency range. Power can be added in 1000-watt increments, up to 4000 watts, by adding an amplifier module and a control unit. Designed for the frequency range of 80 to 1000 MHz, the Model 4000W1000 provides RF power for a variety of applications, including RF susceptibility testing, antenna and component testing, watt meter calibration, and as a driver for frequency multipliers and higher power amplifiers. It is equipped with a Digital Control Panel (DCP) that provides both local and remote control of the amplifier. Special features include a gain control, internal/external automatic level control (ALC) with front panel control of the ALC threshold, pulse input capability, and RF output level protection.
