TT electronics IRC Advanced Film Division introduces a D2-style (T0-263) power resistor. Designated the D2PAK Series, these non-inductive resistors are rated for 20 W at a 25°C case temperature. Typical applications for the D2PAK Series include power supplies, industrial controls, and power-switching circuits. The D2PAK Series resistors offer resistance ranges from 0.020 Ω to 1 KΩ with tolerances to ± 1% and TCRs (at 0.2 - 1 KΩ) of ± 100ppm/°C. These resistors are rated for 20 W at 25°C case temperatures and thermal resistance is 8.0°C/W. Operating temperatures range from – 55 to +150°C. Constructed with proprietary thick film copper conductors and alloy resistors on an alumina ceramic substrate, the D2PAK Series resistor features low thermal impedance for high power dissipation.
