Temex Components announces the availability of the new rubidium atomic clock, the MCFRS series that consumes less than 0.6 Amps during a very fast warm-up time of 10' at 25°C. They are available in the standard frequencies of 5 MHz, 10 MHz, and 20 MHz. The MCFRS consumes 8 watts of power, and exhibits low aging of ± 4 × 10-11
/month. Developed and produced for easy integration into instrumentation applications by Temex Neuchatel Time (Switzerland) the MCFRS is ideal for telecom test instruments, base station test systems, and telecom synchronization systems.
The MCFRS input voltage is 22 V to 28 V and is connected through a 10 pin sub-D with a female coaxial contact. There is an RS-232 port interface for center frequency adjustment and monitoring of the working parameters. The MCFRS can be mounted vertically or horizontally. It operates in a temperature range of -0°C to +60° with an extended temperature range version of -20°C to +65°C also being available.
