Prescaler

Available now from California Eastern Labs is NEC's new UPC1511TB divide-by- prescaler. With its selectable division rations, an upper frequency of 800 MHz and low power consumption, the UPC1511TB is ideal for frequency division applications in a wide variety of designs. Specifications include a I circuit current of 3.5 mA, an output voltage of 0.3 V peak-to-peak and a supply voltage of 3 V.

The UPC1511TB is manufactured using NEC's latest 25 GHz f UHSO Silicon Bipolar Process. This process employs direct silicon nitride passivation film and gold electrodes resulting in excellent performance, consistency and reliability. The prescaler is housed in a miniature 6-pin SOT-363 package and available on tape and reel for high volume automated assembly.
