Ultraminiature Chip Resonator

AVX introduces a high performance timing device in the smallest surface mount package available. The SSR-DR Series ultra-miniature ceramic chip resonator, the world's smallest chip resonator measures just 2.5 mm × 2.2 mm × 1.0mm (.098× .087× .040). The chip incorporates built-in load capacitors, which simplify circuit designs and reduce assembly costs. The SSR-DR Series has a high resistance to shock and vibration.

The SSR-DR Series resonators feature an operating frequency range from 20 to 60 MHz (± 5%). Resonant impedance is 60 ohms max, for 20 to 30 MHz and 100 ohms max, for 30.1 to 60 MHz, with a temperature stability of ± 0.3% over the operating temperature of – 20 ° to 80° Celsius.

These attributes make the resonators ideal for clock applications in camcorders, digital cameras, cellular telephones, and other hand held and portable equipment.
