HUNT VALLEY, MD., September 9, 2013 – Ventev Wireless Infrastructure has announced a comprehensive line of TerraWave Solutions 802.11n/ac antennas that support both existing 802.11n networks and new 802.11ac networks. The new line enables IT managers to future-proof their wireless infrastructure investment by providing the flexibility to immediately transition or gradually upgrade to 802.11ac.

802.11ac, the emerging fifth-generation Wi-Fi standard from the IEEE, is a faster, more reliable, and scalable version of 802.11n that combines the advantages of wireless with the capabilities of Gigabit Ethernet. With increased channel bonding, denser modulation, and more multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) data throughput, 802.11ac achieves higher speeds over wider bandwidths.
