Laird Technologies to Showcase EMI and Microwave Solutions at IEEE IMS 2013
St. Louis, MO – When the IEEE International Microwave Symposium opens, Laird Technologies, Inc. will be there to showcase its best-in-class EMI and microwave materials to design engineers looking for solutions with proven results. Addressing EMI issues early in the design process is critical, and Laird’s customizable solutions are ideal for engineers working at VHF, UHF, microwave, and millimeter wave frequencies in industries ranging from wireless and telecommunications to medical and military.
IMS 2013 will be held at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, Washington, June 4-6, 2013. Laird will exhibit at booth #2408 and will display the ECCOSORB, ECCOSTOCK, and ECCOSHIELD product brands, which were added to the portfolio when Laird acquired Emerson & Cuming Microwave Products.
ECCOSORB microwave absorbers feature a wide frequency range with custom sizes and formulations available. Sample kits of ECCOSORB will be available during the exhibition. Low loss dielectrics, ECCOSTOCK from Laird are available with loss tangents as low as .0001 and dielectric constants ranging from 1.03 to 30. ECCOSHIELD highly conductive shielding materials are available as non-hardening caulking compounds, silicone or vinyl based sheets as well as conductive adhesives and coatings. Laird will also display other EMI solutions including fingerstock, board level shielding, and Fabric-over-Foam.
