Deal Expands European Market Presence
Global Capacity announces that it has added Colt Technology Services, the information delivery platform for European business, to its portfolio of global providers. The commercial integration of Colt provides Global Capacity the opportunity to procure and provision network solutions across Colt’s 35,000km network including 39 metropolitan area networks within major European cities and 19 Colt data centres.
In recent weeks, Global Capacity has announced the appointment of Advisory Board Members and the expanded capabilities of its One Marketplace Access Exchange to include Ethernet access network solutions. This announcement reiterates Global Capacity’s commitment to expanding its capabilities in the European market.
“We welcome Global Capacity as a partner in Europe,” comments Falk Weinreich, VP Sales at Colt. “As we expand our partnership with Global Capacity, the opportunities to provide services to the global communications market through their One Marketplace platform are exciting.”
Global Capacity has placed its initial order with Colt to deliver customer requirements in Germany. The commercial integration with Colt offers Global Capacity the ability to deliver network solutions throughout Europe, providing its One Marketplace Access Exchange customers added global reach.
“By integrating Colt as a strategic partner in Europe, Global Capacity continues to expand the marketplace of alternatives available to deliver automated access solutions to our customers,” adds Jack Lodge, Chief Operating Officer of Global Capacity. “Currently we process more than 150,000 quotes a month via the One Marketplace Access Exchange platform. We expect this number to continue to grow as more customers leverage One Marketplace to source their access requirements, and adding partners like Colt increases the depth and reach of the One Marketplace platform.”
