SAN DIEGO, /PRNewswire/ -- Novatel Wireless is now shipping a number of new mobile broadband devices across multiple form factors and air interfaces that operate on the latest fourth-generation cellular technology. Products being shipped include various versions of the MiFi® family of Intelligent Mobile Hotspots and USB modems.

Early reviews of Novatel Wireless' new products have been very positive. "I give the Novatel MiFi 3G/ least a nine out of 10, most likely a flawless 10 out of 10. Indeed, I have not tried a product that's as good as this one in the market today," wrote Anton Wahlman for The Street.

"This has been among the most ambitious development initiatives in our company's history, with new products being commercialized across numerous form factors and next-generation 4G air interfaces, including Dual-Carrier HSPA+, LTE and WiMAX," stated Peter Leparulo, CEO of Novatel Wireless.

"Each of these is a best-in-class product, and we have already won five industry awards, from Editors' Choice distinctions, to 'Best of' lists, to awards at major wireless associations and tradeshows, including PC Magazine's Editors' Choice and CTIA Emerging Technology Awards," said Mr. Leparulo. "Moving forward, we expect our 4G portfolio to continue with our family of 4G embedded modules that will enable notebooks, netbooks, tablets and other devices to connect wirelessly to the Internet by accessing a cellular network. We are working closely with a number of leading OEMs as we prepare for new product introductions."
