NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Mindspeed Technologies, Inc. announced it will be demonstrating its broad offering of high-definition (HD) video semiconductor solutions at the 2011 NAB Show, including the first in a new family of crosspoint switches that brings sophisticated signal-conditioning and input/output configurability features to compact yet feature-rich, low-power solutions for small- to medium-sized switching matrices.

Mindspeed will be demonstrating a broad portfolio of digital crosspoint switches for video applications, ranging in size from 2x2 to 288x288, as well as its highly integrated, low-power, Serial Digital Interface (SDI) solutions. With the higher data rates required for the transport of HD and 3D video content, system designers need to resolve a variety of signal integrity challenges. Mindspeed’s crosspoints and signal conditioners, featuring the company’s advanced Amplif-Eye signal conditioning technology, are the perfect solution.

“Mindspeed continues to broaden its family of crosspoints, signal conditioners and SDI products, while extending their capabilities to solve a broader range of system challenges,” said Kurt Busch, senior vice president and general manager of the high-performance analog business unit with Mindspeed. “Amplif-Eye technology is a key feature and provides critical compensation and buffering functions that are becoming increasingly important for HD and 3D video applications.”

Product demonstrations will take place in Mindspeed’s booth, #N302, in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, from April 9 through April 14, 2011.
