NEW YORK, /PRNewswire/ -- goCharge has launched a network of branded kiosks in 50 bars in New York City. The goCharge kiosks feature the unique combination of an essential utility - charging all mobile devices "on the go" - and an outstanding sponsorship and branding opportunity.

goCharge Mobile Device Charging Kiosks provide the ability to stay connected to friends, family, and work when not at home or in the car. The Kiosks charge every type of Smartphone, Cell Phone, iPods, iPads and a variety of other handheld devices. goCharge is featuring its Apollo models in the bar network (see http://www.gocharge.tumblr.com/ for a pictorial review of the network).

The Kiosks are easily wall-mounted, or can be placed on a table. Other features of the goCharge Kiosks in the Bar Network include:

* Patented Charging Technology - allowing fastest charging speed possible

* 16 assorted charging tips

* On average, the user charges their mobile device for 8-12 minutes.

  "Bars are a common place to find draining cell phone batteries, after a full day of phone calls, texting, using apps, and browsing," commented Paul King, founder and President of Hercules Networks, the parent company of goCharge . "Our goCharge kiosks offer the best solution, and our usage statistics to date confirm both the substantial need and appreciation of the service."

    goCharge also recently introduced an iPhone "app," which alerts the user of the nearest bar that provides a goCharge kiosk. In the first two weeks of availability more than 500 iPhone users downloaded the app.

The goCharge Network is sponsored by Bacardi Limon. Named after the Spanish word for lemon, BACARDI® LIMIN infuses BACARDI® Rum to the essence of the royal family of citrus fruits: the lemon, the lime and grapefruit. Usage of the Kiosks is provided free of charge.
