CommScope Sells Wireless Test and Measurement Product Line to Anite

HICKORY, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE) -- CommScope, a global leader in infrastructure solutions for communications networks, has sold its wireless test and measurement product line to Anite plc, a leading provider of solutions to the international wireless industry. Through its Network Testing business based in Oulu, Finland, Anite supplies test and measurement tools under the Nemo product brand.

Under terms of the sale, Anite acquires from CommScope’s Andrew Solutions the Invex® wireless test and measurement product portfolio, existing customer commitments, and approximately 20 CommScope employees who directly work for the Invex product line. The remainder of those employees who previously supported the Invex product line will remain with CommScope’s Andrew Solutions. Other terms of the sale, which closed January 7, are not being disclosed.

Anite plans to integrate the acquired Andrew measurement tools as part of the Nemo portfolio in the near future, thus offering one of the strongest and most versatile tool platforms available for Anite’s and Andrew’s customers.
