Bustec's ProDAQ 6100 LXI function card carrier provides access for up to 4 Bustec ProDAQ function cards through a standard Gigabit LAN interface. The 1U 19” half-wide device runs the Linux 2.6 kernel via a 300-MHz processor. The carrier offers an accuracy of 20 ns via synchronization of the data acquisition and Ethernet clocks to ~30 ns. The Class B LXI product demonstrates internal speed of 240 MB/s and throughput of 101 MB/s over switch. The modular unit uses a high-speed USB 2.0 interface and an optional Class A LXI M-LVDS trigger interface. The carrier hold measurement cards, such as analog in and transient recorders, control cards, analog out and AWGs, digital and serial cards, counters, volt. reference monitoring cards, pulsed current sources and switching/relay cards.
