Non-Magnetic Connectors Protect Against Distortion

The Phoenix Company of Chicago introduces its series of non-magnetic connectors that protect against image and magnetic field distortion in MRI equipment, providing the necessary immunity to ensure that scans are not compromised. They can also be used in any industrial application where high-purity, non-corrosive, lightweight metals with non-magnetic characteristics are vital. The connectors exceed industry requirements for RF coils used in MRI applications, and all products are 100% tested for magnetic permeability prior to shipping. Features include snap-on, push-on or threaded couplings, and availability in custom non-magnetic solutions. Low frequency to high frequency bands are also available. Applications are in medical equipment, military communications, aerospace satellites and commercial for PIM applications. They meet RoHs compliancy standards.
