Module Functions with 2 GB Memory



MEN Micro’s XM50 PowerPC-based ESMexpress module runs up to 2 GB of soldered DDR2 SDRAM with error-correcting code (ECC) as well as non-volatile SRAM and FRAM. The nearly-ANSI-VITA-standardized device comes with a PowerQUICC III MPC8548 processor operating at up to 1.5 GHz and a maximum total power dissipation of 12 W. The EMC-protected module has an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C with conduction or convection cooling, three Gigabit Ethernet channels, six USBs with host function, and one USB with client function as well as three SATA connections.
