DC Link Capacitor Handles Higher Currents



WIMA/TAW Electronics, Inc. announces its DC-LINK MKP 4 DC link capacitor that can replace electrolytic devices in high power converter applications. With a low-loss polypropylene dielectric in a UL 94 V-0 plastic case and self-extinguishing epoxy resin sealing, the device is available with capacitances from 5 μF to 75 μF at voltages of 450 VDC, 700 VDC, 900 VDC und 1,100 VDC. The self-healing polypropylene parts come in four-lead versions or with screwable plate connector options. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +85°C.
