Operator Interfaces Achieve Network Support
Red Lion Controls, Inc. announces DeviceNet network support for its G3 series of operator interfaces. This HMI series offers advanced communication and data management. With the release of the G3DN DeviceNet option card, users can add DeviceNet slave connectivity to any of the G3 units by adding the card to the expansion slot during installation using proprietary free Crimson 2 software. The complete series of G3 HMIs features a powerful multi-protocol converter combined with three serial ports and an Ethernet port as standard. The G3DN option card enables any connected devices to communicate with DeviceNet products for complete system integration and data transfer. The option card is isolated, protecting user equipment from potentially harmful ground loops.
