1,000 W Power Module

The Signature 1,000 W Universal Input modules from Transistor Devices, Inc. are high-reliability rectifier/battery chargers for telecom applications (-54 V DC) or front ends (+48 V DC) in distributed power architectures. Other outputs from 42 V DC to 58 V DC are available on special order. They accept remote program controller commands and report performance and fault conditions. The matching 1U power shelf features a depth of 359 mm. It hosts three modules and is capable of delivering up to 3,000 W to the common load. Alternatively, the shelf can deliver 2,000 W of redundant power. The user may provide AC power to the shelf from a single phase or a balanced three-phase source. Tailored versions of the modules and shelves are offered to meet particular needs.
