Avago Technologies announces two ultra-small, WCDMA duplexers with high performance levels. Using improved FBAR (film bulk acoustic resonator) technology, Avago's miniaturized ACMD-7602/ACMD-7612 duplexers deliver best in class transmit and receive insertion loss for UMTS band 1 handsets, femtocells, and data terminals. Optimized for the UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) Band 1 frequency band, Avago's FBAR-based ACMD-7602/ACMD-7612 improves talk time and handset sensitivity in a miniature 3.0 × 2.5 × 1.2 mm max. package. The duplexer offers a typical 1.1 dB insertion loss in the Tx band to minimize current drain from the power amplifier, industry-best receiver sensitivity and dynamic range support with typical Rx band insertion loss of 1.1 dB, interference blocking exceeding 53 dB, and over 43 dB of noise rejection. ACMD-7612 is the mirror image of the ACMD-7602 and ships in the same ultra-small package with best-in-class performance levels.
