NoiseWave announces the NW6G-M amplified noise source. The NoiseWave NW6G-M features broadband frequency coverage from 10 MHz to 6 GHz. The NoiseWave NW6G-M is suited for wireless test applications and covers all major wireless applications. The NW6G-M offers these additional features: Power out is 0 dBm; Flatness of ± 2.0 dB; Internal regulation and operates with +15 Vdc and draws 200 mA. The NoiseWave NW6G-M comes standard with SMA connectors and is in a low profile housing measuring 4 inches× 1 inches× 0.5 inches. Alternative voltages, output levels and frequencies are available. Applications for the device include built in test equipment, dithering for increased dynamic range of A/D converters and as an economical source for bit-error-rate (BER) testing.
