CSR announces a third-party software enhancement for its BlueCore5-Multimedia platform. Continuing to build on CSR’s eXtension Partner Program, BlueCore5-Multimedia silicon offers NXP Software’s speech enhancement technology aimed at Bluetooth headsets, in-car, hands-free kits and mobile phones. NXP Software’s LifeVibes™ Voice engine, which enhances incoming and outgoing speech and suppresses background noise, addresses the acoustic limitations related to both speakers and microphones. NXP Software’s technology offers full duplex communication, greatly improving the quality of voice communication over a Bluetooth connection, and therefore ensuring that users can hear and be heard in noisy environments. The LifeVibes Voice engine offers the latest in Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC), noise cancellation and voice clarity improvement. Brought together to improve the performance of Bluetooth mono and stereo headsets, the partnership with CSR covers NXP Software's solutions for 2-microphone and 1-microphone noise reduction, AEC, intelligibility improvements and far-end noise reduction.
