The UAB 226G™ Bicone Antenna from Fractal Antenna Systems provides extreme wideband and omni-directional performance for signal gathering and high power transmission. The UAB 226G is about one-quarter the size of a conventional antenna, and comes in a compact, rugged package. The antenna offers a good combination of size, bandwidth and gain. The inherent qualities of fractals enable the UAB 226G to be packaged in a considerably smaller size than conventional antennas. Plus, the UAB operates over a wide 25:1+ range of frequency, from UHF to microwave, while offering superior gain. The UAB 226G antenna is available for both commercial and defense applications and can be adapted for vehicle, marine, or fixed use. Sealed in a radome that is 7.7 inches in diameter and 10 inches high, the UAB weighs 4.8 pounds and is available in an optional watertight vehicle mounting kit.
