Laird Technologies’ S245112PT directional and S24517PT sector dual-band external MIMO antennas are intended to enhance the latest generation of WLAN technology systems in the 2.4 to 2.5 GHz and 5.1 to 5.9 GHz bands. The devices contain 3 MIMO antenna elements, each of which is connected to the WLAN access point via a low-loss, coax pigtail. The S245112PT targets point-to-point and long-range outdoor WLAN applications, while the S24517PT targets general-purpose applications indoors and outdoors. The IP-67-rated antennas come in a low-profile UV-resistant polycarbonate weatherproof radome housing, operate from -30°C to 65°C, and incorporate polarization diversity.
