Delivering an out-of-the-box embedded Linux solution to consumer electronics developers, Empower Technologies announces the LinuxDA for OMAP5912 Development Kit (LDK5912), based on TI's OMAP5912 dual-core processor. A one-stop development solution, Empower’s LDK5912 comes complete with both hardware and software offerings that enable developers to create reference consumer electronics products. The kit runs LinuxDA out of the box, so developers can use the LDK5912 to compile, download and test applications within minutes of set-up. Working alongside TI, Empower optimized the LinuxDA operating software for TI's OMAP5912 dual-core digital signal processor (DSP) and ARM CPU to initiate a higher level of performance for intelligent devices with increased headroom for applications and expansion capabilities.
