Radio Transceiver Module

Radiometrix introduces its BiM3B radio transceiver module that is an enhanced higher-power replacement for the BiM3A-869-64. Two frequency variants are available within the European unlicensed SRD band. One offers 5 mW of output power (with no duty cycle restriction), and the other can produce a 25 mW output (with a 1% duty cycle restriction on 868.30 MHz) drawing 35 mA to transmit and 17 mA to receive. These modules support data rates of up to 64 kb/s. Applications range from portable terminals requiring shorter antennas to applications requiring near-continuous transmission in a band other than 433 MHz.
