Indala introduces the FlexSmart™ series, a range of 13.56 MHz contactless Smart Card solutions, from the DESFire ISO 14443A high security Government Smart Card (GSC)-compliant reader range to the MIFARE® ISO 14443A to entry-level ISO 15693 readers. Features include full sector/file programmability, encryption key management and outputs such as Wiegand and ABA Track 2. The FlexSmart product range includes the DX, MX and IX series of products. The DX series readers offer 3DES encryption and communication speed up to eight times faster (800 kb/s) than MIFARE. FlexSmart DX cards and tags offer 4 kB (32kB) as standard memory. MX Series cards/tags have a standard memory of 1 kB (8 kB) with up to 4 kB available. The MX series operates four times faster (100 kb/s) than ISO 15693 compatible readers. The IX series comes in various options including Card Serial Number (CSN) mode where it is also ISO 14443A/B compatible.
