Temex announces the launch of the TMX DU W307, an integrated duplexer for CDMA450 Systems. Hermetically sealed and just slightly larger than a single SAW filter, the duplexer replaces five traditional components: two individual SAW filters and three passive components, with clear advantages such as a high integration level, which simplifies the CDMA450 handset design, cost savings with using one device instead of five, and board space-saving because the PCB surface is four times smaller. This duplexer is designed to allow handsets to meet the 3GPP2 specifications, particularly the Single Tone Desensitization test. The TMX DU W307 is compliant with RoHS regulation 2002/95/CE. When compared to competitive products, the device is said to have a 10 dB higher isolation level and a 1 W higher power handling for a five year lifetime.
