Freescale Semiconductor introduces the latest in its range of RF products with low-power wireless connectivity. The MC33696 PLL-tuned UHF transceiver and MC33596 low-voltage receiver are access and remote control devices designed to help developers streamline existing RF solutions and add the convenience of wireless control to their products. The MC33696 and MC33596 can be used for remote keyless entry, garage door control, radio frequency ID (RFID) products, alarm monitoring, wireless alarm and security systems, home automation and automatic meter reading. Freescale offers a complimentary reference design that enables developers to evaluate and demonstrate low-power wireless connectivity with these devices in a broad range of applications.
