NI has released the industry’s fastest 3U PXI Express embedded controller that can provide performance improvements and higher data throughput for automated test applications.

The NI PXIe-8133 is the industry’s first quad-core 3U PXI Express embedded controller featuring the high-performance Intel i7-820QM quad-core processor. The NI PXIe-8133 showcases improved capabilities and new features, including the following:

•Improved CPU Performance – The Intel i7 quad-core processor provides double the CPU performance than previous dual-core embedded controllers.

•Increased Data Throughput – This controller takes advantage of the advancements in PCI Express, doubling the total system data throughput from 4 GB/s to 8 GB/s.

•More Memory – The NI PXIe-8133 comes standard with 2 GB of DDR3-1333 MHz RAM with the ability to upgrade to 8 GB of system RAM.
