Wall Industries announces the DOSA Alliance-Compatible POL series of DC/DC converters. The POL series converters have two input ranges available of 2.4 to 5.5 VDC and 8.3 to 14 VDC. The output ranges are adjustable from 0.75 V_out to 5 V_out via an external resistor. This series is available with output currents of 6 A, 10 A or 16 A and efficiencies of up to 95 percent. The converters are available in surface mount (SMD) or thru-hole (SIP) packages, and all models conform to the DOSA industry standards. Additional features include tight line/load regulation, no minimum load requirements, low output ripple and noise, compliance with the lead-free directive RoHS, remote on/off, overvoltage and overtemperature protection.
