Low Noise Synthesizers

Micro Lambda Wireless announces their wideband low noise frequency synthesizers. The models include the MLSE-0220 covering 2.0 GHz to 20.0 GHz and the MLSE-0122 covering 1.0 GHz to 22.0 GHz, each in 1 Hz steps. These synthesizers feature low phase noise performance while offering the user many options, including: output power leveling to within ± 1 dB and 0.1 dB resolution versus frequency; additional second LO frequency coverage in bands over 500 MHz to 4000 MHz in 100 kHz steps; an external reference option from 5 MHz to 100 MHz; a second RF Output from 4 to 11 GHz; and an auxillary frequency input from 2 to 20 GHz. Applications include test and instrumentation receiver LOs, frequency converters, and test sets/ATE.
